The "Against the Odds" foundation is a public benefit organization, founded on 26 September 2003 by Anna Dymna. Foundation was established to rescue a group of adults with intellectual disabilities, living in Brother Albert’s Hostel in Radwanowice near Kraków (as a result of the amendment of the Professional and Social Rehabilitation Act of 20 December 2002), lost the right to attend Occupational Therapy Workshops financed by the National Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Fund.

"Against the Odds" leads and maintains the Artistic Therapy Workshops for their wards with intellectual disabilities, furthermore supports the ill and physically disabled people in Poland.

The Foundation annually organizes many events for disabled people including outdoor integration event on the Main Suqrae in Kraków. In June 2005, for the first time, there was organized nationwide range Enchanted Song Festival. The aim of the festival is to find a talented person, who in spite of physical disability, will have a chance to come into the existence at the professional music scene. Since 2007 the official name of the event is: The International Festival of Enchanted Song named of Marek Grechuta. Since 2001, the Anna Dymna’s Foundation along with Foundation of Brother Albert organizes Nationwide Theatre-Musical Festival for People with Disabilities "Albertiana". The event annually gathers over thousand people.

One of the main objectives of the Anna Dymna’s Foundation, in the recent years, become the construction of two centers for the disabled: Holiday and Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities in Lubiatowo and also Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities “Valley of the Sun” ("Dolina Słońca") in Radwanowice for 200 people with intellectual disability. 

Asseco Poland SA acts as the integrator of SMS action for "Valley of the Sun", created to enable collection of funds for the construction of the Therapeutic Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities in Radwanowice.
