The TVN Foundation "nie jestes sam" ("you are not alone") was established in May 2001 by TVN. It is presided by Bożena Walter.

TVN bear all the costs related to maintanance of the Foundation, so that the money gained by it in its entirety shall be provided for pupils. Foundation for many years helping the heroes of TVN grand schemes („Pod Napięciem”, „Rozmoy w Toku”, „UWAGA!”,  „Faky”, or finally foundation “Zielone Drzwi” etc). However, this is only a fraction of cases undertaken by the Foundation. Secondly, it responds to thousands of individual requests for help, incoming to the Foundation through letters or emails. All are subject to a thorough review carried out by specialized staff of the Foundation.

The Foundation confronts with cases of human suffering brought about by illness, poverty and loneliness. Through the TVN Foundation, they had a chance not only to show such tragic stories to the public, but also to have a positive impact on the lives of the people they portrayed. Foundation “nie jesteś sam” helps seriously ill children, but do not forget about the elderly and lonely ones. It supports deaf people affected by genetic diseases, helps the disabled – finances rehabilitation stays, buy wheelchairs, artificial limbs. TVN Foundation offers help also to hospitals and help centers. In addition, TVN Foundation deals with the purchase of medical equipment for medical institutions. Depending on their resources is also helping in the construction of specialized clinics in hospitals.

Asseco Poland SA serves as the integrator of SMS fundraising. The entire profit derived from the SMS sent to 7126 number is transferred for the action to the Foundation conducted by TVN.
